Flight is arguably the most attractive feature of the avian family to people who admire birds. (That is, before it grips you and it turns into an obsession). But it is also and area of photography that can pose the greatest challenges, and often yeild the most satisfying results. The ability for birds to be able to travel, to fight, to feed and to fascinate in the air, offers a wide variety of opportunities for a photographer.
